Schedule

“Refuge” promises to present a schedule unlike most conferences or retreats. Our vision is to provide structured sessions for worship, encouragement, fellowship, and ministry while giving plenty of time for rest, relaxation, recreation, and solitude. Our schedule is flexible and is not only subject to change, but “likely to change”. So take a deep breath, feel the ocean breeze in your hair, and smell the salt in the air. It’s time for refreshing.

Sunday Evening, October 23

7:00 PM: Casual Meet and Greet at Wake Up Coffee Company
(come hang out and get to know one another at the best coffee house with deserts and fair-trade gifts)

Monday Morning, October 24

Early Morning:  Unhurried Time
(rest, enjoy an unhurried breakfast, a walk on the beach, personal worship and devotional time before our first session begins.  See, we told you that “Refuge” was going to be different!)

General Session #1:
Venue:  The Rooftop @ St. Simons Community Church
2700 Frederica Road, St. Simons Island, GA 31522

10:00 AM – Time of corporate worship, prayer, reflection
11:00 AM – Keynote & Discussion (Speaker TBA)
12:00 PM Noon:  Lunch (included)
1:15 PM – 6:00 PM:  Unhurried Time
(free time for rest, solitude, or relaxation.  Enjoy our beautiful beaches, the resort ocean-side pool, our village, or explore some of our optional, recommended excursions)

6:00 PM:  Dinner (provided – location TBA, we’ll enjoy one a dinner from one of our top-destinations for dining here)

General Session #2:
7:30 PM:  an evening of worship, reflection, ministry (Speaker/Leader TBA)

Tuesday Morning, October 25

12:30 PM – Dismissal (Lunch not served but plenty of places to gather and eat lunch for those who aren’t leaving)
